Songflow is a lyric-writing studio made by Louis Valencia. This page explains what information Songflow handles and why. Questions or requests: louisvalenciamedia@gmail.com.
Your lyrics, audio, arrangements and settings are saved in your own web browser, on your own device. We don't receive or store them. Save project creates a file on your device that only you control.
Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture; if you sign in with an email link, we receive your email address. We use this only to identify your account and keep track of your included AI credits. We don't use it for advertising and don't send you marketing email.
When you ask Songflow to write or rewrite lyrics, the text needed for that request (your instructions, the nearby lyrics and your settings) is sent to OpenRouter, which passes it to an AI model provider (currently a DeepSeek model) to write the lines.
These providers handle requests under their own privacy policies.
If you send a bug report, we receive what you write plus details that help us fix the problem: the page address, the app version, your project's name, your browser and screen size, the AI engine selected, recent error messages from the page, and your email address if you're signed in. To prevent spam we also keep a scrambled code made from your internet address, never the address itself.
Like any website, these services process standard technical information, such as your internet address, to deliver pages and requests.
We don't sell or rent your information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking cookies. Songflow keeps a sign-in token and your settings in your browser so the app works; they aren't used to track you.
Songflow's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We ask Google only for your basic profile and email address, and use them only to sign you in.
Account and credit records are kept while your account exists. Bug reports are kept until the problem is resolved and for a reasonable time after. To delete your account and everything connected to it, email louisvalenciamedia@gmail.com and we'll remove it. Your projects live in your browser, so clearing your browser's data for Songflow removes them.
Songflow isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
